Thanks to our products we have been honored with two awards during the last edition of Tuttofood. What makes us particularly proud is the Quality Award, bestowed by the Salumi & Consumi magazine for the category “Meat and Cured Meats” to our Salame Felino IGP. Which is our secret? We use exclusively carefully-selected pure pork leg meat and add hard fatty parts – in a proportion of 25-30%. Then we combine our special mix of salt and peppercorns and, right before filling the cold cut, a mixture of pepper and garlic, crushed and dissolved in dry white wine. Terre Ducali has also been awarded for the best pre-sliced product packaging for its 60 g cold cuts trays.
Tuttofood has also provided the ideal setting to present to GDO buyers in Milan some exclusive new products: in particular the new Pagnotto “Il Galletto”, produced by Parma Is and characterized by a rich stuffing made of chicken strips, shredded carrots, salad and yogurt sauce, and the fresh APERìt line: gourmet products perfect as snack or appetizer and with unmatched features on the market, thanks to the combination of the Darfresh packaging system and high-pressure technology, which blends aesthetic look, usability and food safety.
After the great success accomplished during Tuttofood, in the coming days Terre Ducali will fly to New York to take part in the Summer Fancy Food Show, whose 2015 edition, running from 28th to 30th June, is entirely dedicated to Italy. This will be an opportunity for us to grow on the North American market, which is very sensitive to the appeal of Italian agri-food products; as a matter of fact, the imports in the USA of made-in-Italy food products has increased by 20% in the first 2015 quarter.
