The SIAL Innovation award 2014 for the Culatello Nuggets from Terre Ducali



Terre Ducali is in Paris from 19-23 October to celebrate the important 50th 

anniverary of SIAL, the most important fair in the world dedicated to 

Food and Beverage. The figures talk on their own: there are 6 300 exhibitors 

and more than 150 000 visitors are expected.


The Paris event has a special connotation for us as well: Terre Ducali will 

be receiving the SIAL Innovation 2014 award in the deli meat category, 

for its Culatello nuggets (Pepite di Culatello). A product launched only a couple 

of months ago that has sparked much enthusiasm everywhere it has been 

presented, from MARCA private label fair to CIBUS International Food Fair. 

It is thanks to the perfect mix of tradition, as the Culatello is a typical 

product of the Parma Food Valley – developed in a format of small bites 

- innovation and service content: on top of their great taste, the 

Culatello nuggets distinguish themselves for simplicity and practicality. 

They are the ideal solution of singles, for people of each lunch out of 

their homes and for the happy hour lovers, which opt for nutritious 

and tasty appetizers.


For Terre Ducali, the SIAL is an important business hub: France 

represents our first market. The most important buyers and decision 

makers from wholesale to retail meet in Paris.

    AMPLIAMENTO E SVILUPPO

    Il progetto di investimento ha avuto come obiettivo l’ampliamento della capacità produttiva e la realizzazione di nuovi stabilimenti e nuovi prodotti.
    La società ha ottenuto un contributo complessivamente pari ad euro 2.411.826,65 nell’ambito della normativa sui contratti di sviluppo di cui al Decreto del Ministro dello Sviluppo economico del 9 dicembre 2014.
    L’intervento ha consentito la crescita e lo sviluppo della società garantendo altresì l’incremento delle risorse occupate.
