Outings and happy hours with a lot of taste with Terre Ducali’s Strolghino di culatello
 
 

Are you looking for an original idea for your end summer’s outings? Do you want to try a product ideal for appetizers, snacks or to eat with a good glass of wine during an happy hour with friends?  

Terre Ducali recommends its salami Strolghino di culatello: a light salami with a fine taste and sweet aroma. We suggest to cut it in round thick slices and taste it when it’s still soft with toasts or bread.

This kind of salami boast centuries of tradition, its roots are deep into the ground of the Food Valley and the origin of its name is quite peculiar: in parmesan dialect the word “strolga” means “fortune-teller”. In fact, the Strolghino is obtained with lean meats of culatello from Italian heavy pigs, stuffed in thin casings which accelerate the seasoning process, and for this reason it was used to check the correct seasoning of the big-size salami.

    

Thanks to its Italian leadership in the strolghino production, Terre Ducali offers a wide range of flavors. The traditional size is 250 gr, that can be bought along with knife and cutting board, a simple but nice present, very useful in the kitchen. Our catalogue includes a mini Strolghino (120 gr) available with protective pack, sliced Strolghino in sealed pack available in two different formats 60 gr for singles or for tasty breaks, and 90 gr for home meals. The new Terre Ducali’s sealed packs are practical and convenient, and keep the product fresh as it has just been sliced.

    Il progetto di investimento ha avuto come obiettivo l’ampliamento della capacità produttiva e la realizzazione di nuovi stabilimenti e nuovi prodotti.
    La società ha ottenuto un contributo complessivamente pari ad euro 2.411.826,65 nell’ambito della normativa sui contratti di sviluppo di cui al Decreto del Ministro dello Sviluppo economico del 9 dicembre 2014.
    L’intervento ha consentito la crescita e lo sviluppo della società garantendo altresì l’incremento delle risorse occupate.
